Kororipo Pā Historic Reserve
On 1 August 2025, the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations and the trustees of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rēhia Trust signed the Tuhinga Whakaae o Te Tuku Tōmua o Kororipo Pā/ Deed of On-Account Vesting of Kororipo Pā.
The Deed agrees the Crown will transfer Kororipo Pā as a historic reserve to Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rēhia Trust on-account of a future comprehensive Ngāpuhi Treaty settlement. It will be the first redress the Crown provides Ngāpuhi.
